What type of clients will this help?
Our successful clients have ranged from 18 – 75 year old men and women who want to eat, move, and live better. Not only does the curriculum take into account the needs of beginner clients, using a habit-based approach rooted in change psychology, it also caters to clients with 5+ years of eating well and exercising who struggle with consistency.
Of course, if you are an elite athlete, already in awesome shape and looking for that 1% sports nutrition edge, this curriculum isn’t for you. However, it will help experienced exercisers get their eating and lifestyle habits on track. It’ll also help them stay consistent if that’s one of their struggles.
What dietary philosophy is the software built on?
None, really. As you probably know, we’re nutritional agnostics. And, while meal-plan approaches require one to choose between Vegan, Paleo, Mediterranean, or other “labelled” diets, habit-based approaches don’t force this choice.
This means our progressive systems of habits, lessons, and assignments can work equally well for vegetarians (who eat no meat) or meatatarians (who eat mostly meat).
Do you offer meal plans?
No. Over the years we’ve learned something the hard way: Meal plans and diets aren’t useful or sustainable for the vast majority of clients. So we left them behind a long time ago. Nowadays we use a habit-based coaching curriculum instead.
Does F.I.T. Coaching offer exercise advice or just nutrition?
No exercise prescription is included with F.I.T. Nutrition. However, your personal F.I.T. coach may make recommendations for fitness and exercise during your individual coaching session when appropriate.
